Welcome to Davie

The town of Davie is one of the most diversified municipalities in all of Broward County. For years, the rural atmosphere, nicknamed “Horse Country,” has gone through an evolutionary cycle. However, although the country ambiance still exists and is centered around the western-themed downtown district, anyone who has traveled to Davie recently would agree the town is anything but.

Sprawling over 35 square miles, the town is ideally nestled at the center of Broward County. It extends from I-75 to US 441 and south of I-595 to both sections of Griffin and Stirling Road. It is also proudly home to the Miami Dolphins Trainer Center, along with several well-known colleges, universities, and technical institutes.

According to the most recent census, there are approximately 90,000 residences in Davie. Demographics and incomes are distributed among many diverse types of living styles, personalities, and ethnic backgrounds. The Town of Davie has a variety of zoning designations throughout, ranging from rural ranches to multi-family to commercial. Yet, there are still plenty of green areas, numerous parks, and over 165 miles of horse trails for horse lovers to enjoy.

Whether you’re a white-collar, blue-collar, or no-collar at all, whether an empty nester looking for a simple condo or townhouse or part of a larger family pursuing a more luxurious setting, acreage, or gated community, the Town of Davie has it all.
